TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR "SERVICES"

For all services (exempt liquid damaged devices) carried out we will provide 2 months warranty as follows

  • Warranty does not apply to faults caused by user, by inappropriate use of goods, does not cover software faults, data loss, does not cover any physical or mechanical damages caused by customer.
  • Liquid damaged devices are exempt from warranty.
  • Warranty only applies to parts which were replaced and labour.
  • If after service, customer notices any problems with device or missing parts ex. screws, customer needs to stop using the device immediately and return the device as soon as possible to store for check and eventual service, otherwise it may breach our warranty terms and conditions resulting in loss of warranty.
  • If fault is found to be caused by inappropriate use by customer, customer will be responsible for paying for service costs ex. reinstallation of Operating System, removal of Viruses, replacement of cracked / smashed / damaged / shattered screens/parts etc...
  • All faulty devices must be immediately stopped from using, and returned to store for warranty services, otherwise it may breach our warranty terms and conditions resulting in loss of warranty.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data caused by damage to device or during services, however we will try always to preserve any data which is on device if possible. Customers are advised and strongly recommended to keep their devices backed-up on regular basis and creating such backup is recommended before bringing device for repair services if device is in suffient working condition allowing to do that.
  • In certain situations customer may be asked for device PIN, password or screen unlock pattern so full access to device functionalities may be gained - this is strictly for service and testing purposes. We assure and promise that no private data will be shared, accessed or changed during repair or when device is within store premises.
  • If there is a need to transfer data from device to device we may need customer login and password to carry this service. It's recommended to customer that after such service is done, customers should change their password to access their account. This is for their own safety and privacy and to protect us from having alleged access to such data after repair.
  • Parts used for services may not be of a genuine manufacturer origin and they might be supplied by 3rd party supplier not related to manufacturer. They might offer slightly different colour or material from the original ones. Customers are more than welcome to check and inspect quality of the part used for service, before agreeing to order service.
  • In particular screens may be made from a different glass - not so called gorilla or hardened glass. However we promise that they are of working order, and your device will gain same functionalities as with original genuine part, they might have slightly different durability - in relation to the physical impact they can resist (not crack). Picture displayed by all of our displays is of the same quality and resolution as original genuine parts. Most of the screens have original manufacturers LCD/LED displays which were reconditioned (old glass removed and replaced by a new one in industrial conditions). That itself guarantees good quality of picture same as on genuine parts.
  • By ordering service, customer is agreeing to above Terms & Conditions.

 


 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR “TRADE-IN”

GENERAL

  1. These Terms and Conditions will apply to you when trading in
  2. If you wish to trade in, you will be provided with a form to sign and return to us before leaving your product with us for testing and valuation.
  3. By signing this form you accept and agree to this terms and conditions.

 

OWNERSHIP AND STATUS

  1. You confirm that:
    1. You have the legal right to sell all products you submit for trade-in,
    2. Products you submit to us are not counterfeit or stolen,
    3. Your submission of the Products to us fully complies with these Terms and Conditions,
    4. You are a consumer and are not acting on behalf of any other entity,
    5. You are resident in the United Kingdom and have a billing and postal address in the United Kingdom.
  2. Products submitted to us must meet the eligibility requirements, which will be determined by us in our sole discretion based on the condition, age and market value of the Product.
  3. Any Products deemed to be counterfeit or stolen will be reported to the relevant authorities and are not eligible for trade-in.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse to trade in any Product submitted to us for testing and valuation if Product does not meet our criteria for that Product. If this is the case, we will inform you why we are unable to accept the Product for trade-in and will return it to you.
  5. We will at our discretion require verification of ID for any trade-in. Acceptable forms of ID include any of the following:
    1. Passport, utility bill, Driving Licence with current residential address in UK.
    2. Where a request by us for proof of ID is not met, we reserve the right to refuse any trade-in transaction.

 

BASIC FUNCTIONALITY TESTING

When submitting your Product to us you may be required to demonstrate the basic functionality of the Pre-Owned Product to our representative in store. For example, where possible, you must demonstrate that the Pre-Owned Product;

  1. Powers or boots up,
  2. If applicable, has an intact screen which is not cracked or smashed and, if the Pre-Owned Product has a touch screen, that it is fully functional,
  3. if applicable, is accompanied by a compatible and working charger, power cable or controller (if required to demonstrate basic functionality).

 

FULL TESTING

  1. If our in store representative is satisfed that your Product satisfes the basic functionality requirements set out above, you will be required to leave your Product with us for further testing by our in store team.
  2. Before leaving your Product with us, please ensure that you have:
  3. Removed:
    1. Passwords and access restrictions (including for any linked accounts, eg Apple iCloud),
    2. SIM or memory cards from the Product, and
    3. Personal information, including (but not limited to) all names, phone numbers, SMS and email messages, browsing history, photos, games, songs, video, apps, programs and all other data that might identify you or any other individual ("personal information"), and
  4.  Disabled any data receiving functions such as wifi, Bluetooth or 3G.
  5. Our in store representatives will perform further testing on your Product against our eligibility requirements so that we can establish if your Product is eligible for trade-in and, if so, give you an accurate valuation.
  6. We will inform you how long we estimate further testing will take and when you will receive your valuation. The length of time this process will take may vary depending on the type of product and level of activity in store.

 

VALUATION

  1. If, after basic functionality testing and/ or full testing, we are satisfed that your Product meets our eligibility criteria, we will give you our valuation of your Product.
  2. All valuations provided by us will be in pounds/sterling, are final and are only valid on the day they are given. If you do not accept the valuation on the date it is given, We will assume that you have rejected it.

 

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  1. By leaving your Product with us and accepting these Terms and Conditions, you confirm that all personal information has been permanently, securely and completely deleted from your Product.
  2. If and to the extent that you have failed to permanently, securely and completely delete any such personal information from your Product, you agree to indemnify us and to hold us harmless from and against any losses, costs, claims or expenses that we may sufer or incur as a result.

 

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. You and we both aggree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

 


 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR "SALES"

For all Electronic Goods we sell we will provide 6 months warranty as follows:

  • Warranty does not apply to faults caused by user, by inappropriate use of goods, does not cover software faults, data loss, does not cover any physical or mechanical damages.
    Warranty does not cover consumables (ex. batteries).
  • If fault is found to be caused by inappropriate use by customer, customer will be responsible for paying for repair costs ex. reinstallation of Operating System, removal of Viruses, external parts (Hard Drive), replacement of cracked / smashed / damaged / shattered screens etc...
  • All faulty devices must be immediately stopped from using, and returned to store for warranty services, otherwise it may breach our warranty terms and conditions resulting in loss of warranty.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data caused by damage to device or during services, however we will try always to preserve any data which is on device if possible.

 

For up to 30 days we additionally provide warranty as follows:

  • If your goods are faulty from non-user fault during 30 days period from the date of purchase you can get an immediate refund in same way as initial payment was done (cash, card refund etc.) or choose to have your device repaired or replaced if possible.

 

For up to 6 months we provide warranty as follows:

  • If item is faulty necessary repairs will be carried on with no cost to customer within warranty period.
  • If repair is not possible, replacement device will be offered.
  • In case when direct replacement is not possible we may offer different device or upgrade.
  • If customer wants to upgrade to device of higher value, additional payment of balance may be required.
  • If customer is not happy with offered upgrade, we will offer in-store credit in amount of current device value in working condition, which they can use within 30 days in store.
  • If any of above conditions are not satisfactory customer have right to get a full refund.
  • By buying any device or accessories from our store customer is agreeing to above Terms & Conditions.

 


 

PRIVACY POLICY

  • All information collected from customers during purchasing or using our repairing service will be used strictly and solely for this purpose.
  • No private information will be shared or sold in any form.
  • We may store customer details like Full Name, Address, Telephone Number, Device Name and Serial/IMEI number to provide warranty service or to protect ourselves from illegal activities when purchasing devices. When buying devices from customers we will also keep Photocopy of ID and confirmation of address.

 

Digital information will be treated as follows:

  • If we buy any electronic device from customer which contains any private information, we will completely wipe, format and remove this information from device prior to reselling.
  • If we accept any electronic device for repair we will not share, use, copy or read any data on it. Only exception from this rule is when customer order us to backup or transfer this data to other media for backup purposes.
  • We may need to ask customer to provide login, password, PIN or unlock pattern to device to fully test its functionality after repair is done. This is strictly to test device. It's recommended to customer that after such service is done, customer should change their password to access their account. This is for their own safety and privacy and to protect us from having alleged access to such data after repair.
